Itinerary developed in the street which present no particular technical difficulties but the differences in height to be faced are suitable for people with a minimum of training.

Program

1 Day: Arrival in Catania and transfer to Nicolosi b&b. Presentation of the tour, dinner and overnight staying.

2 Day: Nicolosi – Adrano – Bronte Km. 38, drop mt. 301
Adrano visit of the historical center and the Norman Castle. “Simeto Gorges” and “Bridge of the Saracens” Bronte: The pistachio orchards and the historic center. hotel accomodation . Keep in mind To avoid a vertical drop of 478 meters in 7 km is planned for those who want it a Transfer. by car from where the stage ends (Loc. Cundarati Plan) to the hotel (cost € 5 per person).

3 Day: Bronte – Maniace – Randazzo Km. 30, drop mt. 309
Maniace:Visit of the Castle of Nelson and the former abbey of Santa Maria di Maniace. Randazzo: Interesting and rich historical center of medieval origin. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight staying.

4 Day: Randazzo – Giardini Naxos Km. 44, dislivello mt. 166
Opportunity to taste the Etna’s wines and local gastronomic specialties in the_ historic medieval Castiglione di Sicilia. Explore the gorges of the river Alcantara. Hotel accommodation or resort, dinner and overnight staying.

5 Day: Naxos Garden – Taormina Giardini Naxos Km. 18, dislivello 262
Visit of Taormina, and its monuments and main natural attractions. Return to Naxos Garden.

6 Day: Giardini Naxos – Acireale – Acitrezza Km.40 dislivello 279
Visit the baroque in Acireale, the Natural Reserve of the “Timpa”, Acitrezza stacks and the the fishing village. Hotel accomodation.

7 Day: Breakfast. Departure to Catania and end of our services.

Possibility of having a tour guide on bike and a car for assistance for a minimum of  10 persons with € 30 surcharge per person for each day. The price of the guided tour includes: printed material (maps and brochures). Briefing and tour presentation. Half board treatment in standard double bedroom. Luggage transportation from/to every hotel of the tour. Car support (where possible ). Guide on bike speaking italian and english.

Important to know  the tour can be retailored on its itinerary, services provided, number of days and partecipants. We do not recommend Saturday arrivals and departures on Sunday because the “Castle of Nelson” in Maniace observes the closing day on Monday.
